In the last couple of weeks I’ve “attended” two conferences from the opposite side of the planet, in virtual mode. These were The Experts Conference (nice to see it back after Quest’s re-emergence from the Dell Years) and the European Identity and Cloud Conference. For what it’s worth, here are my reflections on the experience….

Data Quality Script for the FIM Service
Today I presented a session called “all about data” at the FIM Team User Group meeting. One of the goodies I shared was my Data Quality script. The point of this script is to run against the FIM Service on a regular basis and look for anomalies that can be easily fixed – for example…
FIM Documentation Scripts
Another great User Group session this morning, all about automated documentation for FIM Portal policy. The links to watch the recording and/or download the scripts are on this page here: https://unifysolutions.jira.com/wiki/display/FIMTEAMCOM/2014-02-19+-+Auto-document+your+FIM+Portal+Solution

Poll results from the inaugural FIM Team User Group meeting
We had our very first FIM Team User Group meeting yesterday, with attendees from all around the world. There was some good FIM chat going on in the messaging window – I think this will really be the best thing about these meetings, especially for those who, like I was for a long time, fly…
FIM Best Practices at TechEds New Zealand and Australia
I haven’t had much time for blogging lately as all spare time is going on TechEd prep. I’m very pleased this year to be be presenting two different but complimentary sessions on FIM Best Practises at both TechEd New Zealand and TechEd Australia. I hope people will go away understanding that IAM projects have their challenges, and…
